1. Information
1.1 Make Your Play League (MPL) is an international Warcraft III: The Frozen Throne league.
1.2 The email address for MPL is MPLeague@live.com.
1.3 All participating teams must read, accept, and abide by the rules during any & all MPL events.
1.4 All times and dates stated in MPL forums are, unless stated otherwise, Eastern Standard Timezone (EST = GMT - 05:00)
1.5 All players and teams are required to be respectful, well mannered, and to maintain a good standard of conduct at all times.


2. Definitions
2.1 Player - An individual who is competing in MPL. Players may only be on one team at any given time.
2.2 Team - A team consists of 4 or more unique individuals who compete together in MPL and share a unique tag.
2.3 Manager - An individual designated by a team who is in charge of representing the team, managing the wars, and contacting other managers and admins. A minimum of one manager is mandatory.
2.4 Sub Card - This card may be used during a clan war to replace a player in the lineup for another player outside the lineup.
2.5 Joker Card - This card may be used during a clan war to replace a player in the lineup for another player currently in the lineup, even if they have already played.
2.6 Clan War
2.6a - A clan war consists of four best of one solo games (4x 1v1Bo1) and two best of one twos arrainged team games (2x 2v2Bo1).
2.6b - In the result of a tie, an ace match is played by an ace player designated by each team at the end of the war.
2.7 Ace Style
2.7a Ace Match - This is a tiebreaker game played when both teams are tied in points at the end of the war. This is a best of one (Bo1) match played by the ace player on the week's starting map.
2.7b Ace Player - A player chosen by the team at the end of the matches who has participated in the current war to represent the team. This player may chose any race, ignoring rule (4.2b). The victorious player seizes the clan war win for their respective team.


3. Scheduling Matches
3.1 Clan war match-ups for the week will be posted every Sunday. Each week has a specific starting map which will be announced at that time.
3.2 Schedling
3.2a Team managers are responsible for scheduling the war date & time with the opposing team and informing an MPL Admin.
3.2b Team managers may use the scheduling board on the MPL forums to help with the process.


4. Lineups
4.1 The line-ups are to be sent by email to: MPLeague@live.com.
4.2a The line-ups must clearly indicate the starting player, followed by the next three (3) solo games, and the two (2) Arrainged Team games players.
4.2b The line-ups must clearly indicate each player's race, which will be played during the war.
4.3 The line-ups must be sent AT THE LATEST THIRTY (30) minutes before the war.
4.4 The line-ups will become unchangeable fifteen (15) minutes before the war.


5. Competition System
5.1 Qualifiers
5.1a Ten (10) open spots are available for teams to play in MPL.
5.1b In the event that more than ten (10) teams apply, a qualifier round will be announced where teams compete for remaining spots.
5.2 Season
5.2a MPL season consists of ten ( 10 ) teams in one division competing for the top scores.
5.2b The amount of points accumulated throughout the season will determine the team's spot in the playoffs (8 spots).
5.3 Playoffs
5.3a The rank one (1) team will play the rank eight ( 8 ) team, the rank two (2) team will play the rank seven (7) team, etc.
5.3b Teams play in a single elimination style rounds.
5.3c The winner is crowned champion. Top two (2) teams are auto-qualified into the next season.3.1 Clan War


6. League Format
6.1 Matches are to be played in the order of the line-ups, but may be changed in order with the aproval of both teams.
6.2 After a match has been played, the winning team's next player is permitted to veto one (1) map. The losing team's next player is then required to choose the next map to be played.
6.3 Time between matches is to not exceed fifteen (15) minutes.
6.4 The map pool is the selection of maps available to the teams. Each team is permitted to play a map a maximum of one (1) time, at the exception of the first map.
6.5 A player has the right to call "No Obs" where solely the admin or neutral host will be permitted to observe the game.


7. Roster
7.1 A player may only be on one team.
7.2 A roster may consist of up to 20 unique players.
7.3 A team manager may add/remove players from the roster at any day, but must wait until the start of the next week to play that player.
7.4 Roster additions/removals must be sent to MPLeague@live.com and must include the player's RACE, COUNTRY, and GARENA ID.
7.5 Players must play on the exact names prived in the team profile while participating in a clan war.


8. Hosting & Lag
8.1 Hosting
8.1a The host must be agreed on by both players
8.1b Clan matches are to be played in the GGC room: "GameSports Cup Room 01" unless agreed by both players to play on Battle.net.
8.1c If the game is laggy, the game should be saved and re-hosted. Leaving the game without agreement between the players and after the 2 minute mark results in a forfeit.
8.1d If there is any interaction between the players, rule "8.1c" no longer applies. Instead, an admin will decide weither to re-host or award a win.
8.1e The game must be hosted under these parameters:
Game must be set on fast.
Observers must be set to “Full Observers.”
Team lock must be on
Random Heroes must be off.
Random Races must be off.
Fog of War must be on.
“Full” unit sharing must be off.
8.2 Disconnection
8.2a If a player disconnects before the 2 minute mark the game will be rehosted.
8.2b If there is any interactions between the players, rule "8.2a" no longer applies.
8.2c If a player disconnects after the 2 minute mark, and admin will decide weither to re-host, unless both teams agree.


9. Replays
9.1 The winning team of the war must submit all the replays from the war.
9.2 The winning team must submit a battle report indicating the game order unles there is an admin present.
9.3 Replays must be sent in to MPLeague@live.com withing 24 hours of the completion of the war.


10. Penalty Point System
10.1 Penalty points are assigned to a clan and are cumulative over the season.
10.2 Penalty points may only be assigned by an MPL Admin.
10.3a Two penalty points will result in the loss of one (1) point from the team's standings.
10.3b Ten penalty points accumulated during the regular season will result in disqualification from MPL.
10.4 Penalty points may be issued, but not limited to, the following:
10.4a Missing replays (0.2)
10.4b Late/missing line-ups (0.5)
10.4c Bad manner towards a player (1.0)
10.4d Misleading an admin (1.0)
10.4e Changing race on countdown to something other than on line-up (1.0)
10.4f Bad manner towards an admin (2.0)
10.4g Excessive bad manner towards player/admin (3.0)
10.4h "Ghosting" on a 3rd party voice program (10.0) - Disqualification
10.4i "Double-tagging" / playing invalid players (10.0) - Disqualification
10.4j Cheating of any kind via 3rd party program (10.0) - Disqualification

MPL holds the right to change the rules at any time.
